The 100-Night Trial

Your own bedroom, and a hundred nights.

A bed can't be judged in an afternoon. It has to be lived with - made up, slept in, seen in morning light and in lamplight. So every Meravelle frame comes with a 100-night trial, counted from the day it's delivered. Take all hundred if you need them.

If, somewhere in those nights, you decide it isn't the bed - write to us, and we'll walk you through the return.

How a return works

1. Write to us. Email hello@meravelle.com within 100 nights of delivery. A person answers, usually within a day.

2. Just send it back. When you write to us, we'll reply with the return address, packing instructions, and recommended freight carriers - where possible, use the original cartons. Customer pays return freight, no additional re-stocking fee or taxes.

3. You're refunded. Once the frame reaches our warehouse and passes inspection, we refund the full purchase price to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days.

A few honest conditions

We ask that the frame comes back in like-new condition - clean, undamaged, unmodified. Careful everyday use is exactly what the trial is for. Damage, staining, or alterations are not, and may mean we're unable to accept the return.

Bespoke commissions

Some frames we make to your specification - a custom size, a different material or finish, a configuration built for one room in one home. These are commissions, not stock, and they are final sale: they can't be returned or exchanged, because they were never made for anyone but you.

We'll always be plain about this before you commit, and a commission can be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering - after that, the work begins.

If a commission arrives damaged, or isn't the piece you approved, that's on us - and we'll make it right.

Cancellations

You have up to 14 days from placing your order to change your mind - write to us within that window and we'll cancel it for a full refund.

After that, your frame is on the schedule and the material sourcing and pre-work begins, so the order can no longer be cancelled or changed without a 20% order cancellation fee. If it arrives and isn't right, the hundred nights are still yours.

If it arrives damaged

Every frame is inspected before it leaves the workshop, and we ask you to look yours over on arrival.

If the damage is obvious and serious at delivery, you may refuse the shipment - note "damaged" on the delivery paperwork and email us the same day.

If you find something after the delivery crew has gone, send clear photos of the frame and its packaging to hello@meravelle.com within 24 hours of delivery. The photos are what let us move quickly for you.

From there, one of two things happens:

  • For minor damage - we send a replacement component or arrange a repair, to bring the frame back to new.
  • For anything more - we replace the frame, on us.

You never pay a cent of shipping when a return or exchange is our doing. And once your hundred nights are up, the three-year warranty on frame, joinery and slats carries on.
